Application & Fees

To apply to the 2013 Duke University Program on Global Policy and Governance, please complete the online application which will include your resume and open-ended questions by November 26, 2012, 5:00 pm EST.

  2. Current resume in standard format (Word doc)  Note:  there is a place to upload this on the online application.
  3. Open-ended questions which are also included with the application form.
  4. Two letters of recommendation from people familiar with your professional, community service and/or academic work. References should send letters of recommendation directly to geneva@duke.edu

Students will receive a final admissions decision from the program in late December 2012. Criteria for admission include your educational and professional background, leadership skills, relevance of the program to your career goals, and your commitment to participating in the program.

How much does the program cost? PAY ONLINE

The program fee is $2699. If you are accepted to the program, a $500 nonrefundable deposit is due to the program by January 14, 2013 with the remaining $2199 due by April 15, 2013. Please note that the program fee does not cover room and board, airfare, and other living expenses. Cost estimates for these expenses are in the FAQ section.

The Program on Global Policy and Governance/Global Health Fellows Program cannot provide partial or full scholarships for participants. Each participant is responsible for program fee, room and board, airfare and other living expenses. Students should inquire with their home schools, programs, or sponsors for potential support early in the year.
